There is a particular kind of ordinary day that never makes the highlight reel. Grey outside, nothing scheduled, the sort of Wednesday you could not describe a week later. Those days outnumber everything else, which means most of a life is built from them. If happiness only fits into the good ones, it does not get much room.
The beautiful part is not always in the sky. Some days it is the toaster working, the walk to the shop, an hour in which nothing hurts.
That is a low bar on purpose. Low bars are how anything gets cleared in a bad week.
