I am absolutely thrilled with the new me I am creating.

At the back of most wardrobes hangs a jacket that no longer fits the shoulders. Not ruined. Just cut for someone who isn't there any more.

Staying thrilled is easier when you can see the difference, and differences are invisible from the inside. This is what old photographs are for, and old messages, and friends who haven't seen you in a year.

Creating is present tense. Not a finished person waiting at the end of it, but the one currently being assembled out of ordinary Tuesdays.
