Affirmation to Happiness and Life I am at peace with my past, and I am in love with my present.

I am at peace with my past, and I am in love with my present.

Peace and agreement are different settlements. You can be entirely at peace with something you still believe should never have happened. What ends isn't the judgement. It's the appeal.

Some people spend decades arguing a case in front of an empty bench — new evidence, sharper closing statement, the whole thing rehearsed again on the drive home. The verdict never moves, because nobody is sitting.

Being in love with the present is largely a matter of attention becoming available again. There is a great deal here worth looking at, and it has been competing with a courtroom that closed years ago.
