Affirmation to Fear I am full of confidence.

I am full of confidence.

You can find the light switch in your own hallway in the dark. No hesitation, no thought. That's what confidence looks like once it has been earned quietly — not swagger, just familiarity.

The trouble comes from expecting to feel that way about something you've done twice. Nobody is fluent in a room they've stood in once.

Which changes what confidence has to mean today. Not certainty about the outcome, but trust in something smaller: that you'll cope with whatever happens, that you have coped before, that you know where the switches are in your own life.

That much is already true.
