I appreciate the unconditional support from the universe in everything I do.

Support that arrives usually has a face. The lucky break traces back to someone who mentioned your name in a meeting you weren't in. The timely money traces back to a person who decided to be generous.

Calling it the universe skips over them, which is a shame — they're the interesting part, and they can be thanked.

There's also a passive risk in the phrase. Trusting in support drifts easily into waiting for it. The people who seem most supported are usually the ones who asked, out loud, for something specific.

Ask someone for one concrete thing this week. Support turns out to be requestable.
