Affirmation to Personal Growth I can program my own mind.

I can program my own mind.

Minds don't take direct instructions well. Telling yourself to stop thinking about something is famously the fastest route to thinking about it.

What they do respond to is environment and repetition. Nobody scrolls less by deciding to. They scroll less because the phone spent a week charging in the hallway instead of beside the bed. The decision got made once, at the level of furniture, and then never had to be made again at eleven at night.

Programming yourself works better as an engineering problem than a willpower one. Change the room, not the resolve. What's within arm's reach is writing more of your behaviour than your intentions are.
