Life has good days to offer.

Good days do not ask permission and do not wait for a situation to resolve. They show up mid-mess, usually as an unremarkable Wednesday that simply went fine. Work was manageable, the food was good, nothing broke.

You will have had one during this. It will not have announced itself, because good days rarely do, they get identified afterwards if at all. The offer stays open regardless of what the rest of the year is doing.
