There's a reason people dress properly for a difficult day even when nobody is going to see them. Behaviour runs upstream of feeling far more often than the reverse.
Mood is the least controllable of the three and yet gets treated as the gatekeeper, as though action has to wait for it to show up. It doesn't. Action taken while the mood is still poor is precisely what eventually shifts the mood.
So start with the piece that moves. Stand up. Do the smallest item on the list. Say the sentence you rehearsed. Confidence isn't the fuel. It's the exhaust.
