My trials and tribulations are serving a higher purpose for my healing.

Meaning tends to get assembled afterwards, and by the person who was there.

It is not delivered along with the event, wrapped and labelled.

That matters because of the pressure other people apply — the visitor who explains what all this is for while you are still inside it. You are allowed to have no idea yet. You are allowed to find it simply hard, for as long as it is simply hard.

Purpose has a habit of arriving late, made out of what you did rather than out of what happened to you. There is no deadline on it, and nobody is marking the work.
