Every cathedral had a first stone laid by someone who would not live to see the roof. Every book began as a bad opening paragraph its author was faintly embarrassed by. The small beginning is not a charming detail. It's the actual mechanism, and it looks unimpressive from the inside because it is unimpressive from the inside.

Acting on a dream today probably means something with no visible relationship to the dream: one email, one page, twenty minutes learning a thing you don't know yet.
