Affirmation to Personal Growth Feelings are your personal property.

Feelings are your personal property.

Property implies two things, and the comforting one usually takes all the attention.

The first: nobody gets a vote on whether you're allowed to feel this. Someone once said *don't be upset about that* and it landed like a legal ruling. It wasn't one. They had no jurisdiction.

The second is heavier. Property is also what you're responsible for. Your anger is yours the way a dog is yours — real, alive, and still your job when it gets into someone else's garden. Owning a feeling means you never have to justify it and you don't get to hand anyone the bill for it. Both halves arrive in the same box.
