Affirmation to Gratitude Gratitude brings me peace

Gratitude brings me peace

What gratitude interrupts, mostly, is rehearsal. Peace tends to be missing because some part of you is running a conversation from Tuesday, or one that hasn't happened, on a loop, for the fourth time.

The loop is stubborn, and arguing with it makes it louder. What breaks it is a competing task — something concrete enough to require actual looking.

Naming three things in the room, precisely, is that task. It isn't profound. It's occupancy.

Next time the loop starts, don't try to resolve it. Describe something real in front of you, in detail, until it loses the thread.
