Nobody learns to drive with ease. They learn it badly, in a car that lurches at every junction, and then one day notice they've arrived somewhere without thinking about the gears once.

Ease is what repetition leaves behind. It isn't the starting condition, and treating it as one turns early difficulty into evidence that you're wrong for this.

Whatever takes your whole attention now will someday take a fraction of it. Until then the lurching is the process, not a verdict.
