Affirmation to Happiness and Life I am content with who I am.

I am content with who I am.

People sometimes hear contentment as a stopping point, as though liking yourself meant closing the file.

But you can be fond of a house and still fix the back door. The two are not in conflict — and almost nothing gets improved from a position of disgust. Self-loathing is a terrible project manager. It gets three days of frantic work out of you and then walks off site.

Contentment is what makes change survivable. From here, a flaw is a job for a Saturday rather than evidence about your entire life. Start from fond. You will get further.
