Purpose sounds like a mission statement and usually looks like Saturday morning. A man coaches an under-elevens team, standing in the rain for eleven children who won't remember his name in twenty years.
Being purpose rather than having it takes the pressure off finding the right one. It isn't an object to be located. It's the direction you're already facing when nobody has asked you to face anywhere.
