Affirmation to Happiness and Life I am the only one in control of lifting myself. I choose to have an amazing day.

Nobody has ever wanted to get into cold water. Ask anyone who swims through the winter — the wanting doesn't arrive. What arrives, reliably, is being glad afterwards.

The lift tends to run in that direction. Action first, feeling second, which is inconvenient, since the feeling is what you were hoping to use as fuel.

So the choosing is smaller and more physical than it sounds. Shoes on. Curtains open. The first two minutes of something. The mood catches up within the hour and takes all the credit for having been there from the start.
