I am worthy of being happy with my life. I depend on myself alone for my happiness.

Depending on yourself is not the same as needing no one. The first is a question of who holds the job. The second is a far lonelier arrangement, and few people would want it even where it was on offer.

What can't be handed over is the deciding — whether this life is acceptable to you, whether the week gets arranged around anything you care about. No one can run that from outside your head.

What can be shared is nearly everything else. Being responsible for your own happiness doesn't oblige you to build it single-handed. Most self-possessed people have several numbers they ring often.
