Affirmation to Personal Growth I constantly work to improve my talents and skills.

I constantly work to improve my talents and skills.

A metronome set at sixty is humiliating for the first week. Every fast guitarist who ever lived started there, playing slower than they already could, on purpose.

Improvement isn't mostly about effort. It's about being willing to be worse temporarily, to break a habit that works because a better one waits on the other side of it.

Constant work doesn't have to mean constant strain. Twenty minutes most days, aimed squarely at the thing you're bad at, beats three hours running through what you've already got.
