Affirmation to Stress and Anxiety I have the strength to move beyond my anxiety.

I have the strength to move beyond my anxiety.

For years, some people cannot get into a lift. Some of those people later get into lifts.

Ask them and you tend to get something unglamorous back: they still do not enjoy it. The doors closing still do something in the chest. What changed was not the sensation — it was the size of the life built around it. It stopped being the thing that decided which floor a meeting could be held on.

That is what moving beyond looks like from the inside. Not a door shutting behind you on an old version of yourself. More like territory, gained slowly, in a direction you chose.

The strength involved is undramatic. Going a little further than last time, being tired afterwards, and then going again.
