The blank is the whole exercise, and most people stall at it. Something in the wiring resists finishing that sentence, particularly in a way that isn't a joke or a hedge.

Go smaller than feels reasonable. Not character virtues — your handwriting, the fact that you always know which song is playing, the way you're the one who checks everyone's there before the group leaves.

Say one. Out loud beats thinking it. It will feel ridiculous, and the ridiculousness is itself information: about how long it has been since anyone said something like that to you, yourself included.
