I no longer resist the lessons i’m learning.

Everyone who has learned to drive has stalled at a junction with four cars waiting behind them. The lesson in that moment is not clutch control. The lesson is that you can be watched failing and the day continues.

Resistance to a lesson is rarely stubbornness. It is usually that the lesson arrived attached to something humiliating, and the mind is trying to protect you from the whole package.

Which is why the useful move is to separate them — take the clutch control, leave the shame in the junction. The information was never the part that hurt.
