Affirmation to Fear I release all self-doubt.

I release all self-doubt.

Record yourself doing something you think you're bad at, then watch it back a week later. The gap between the memory and the recording is usually embarrassing, in the direction you weren't expecting.

Self-doubt makes a poor witness. It remembers the two seconds you stumbled and none of the twenty minutes that went fine. Its filing system is organised entirely around your worst moments.

Doubt does have a useful cousin — the honest uncertainty that makes you prepare, check the figures, ask the question. Keep that one. The other kind isn't accuracy. It's a habit, and habits can be put down.
