Affirmation to Stress and Anxiety I reside in the here and now.

I reside in the here and now.

You were fully present for about six minutes yesterday and did not notice at the time. Chopping something. Halfway through a song in the car. Listening properly to a person describing a problem that was not yours.

The present does not usually arrive by being summoned. It turns up in gaps, when the machinery that plans and reviews is briefly occupied elsewhere. Which makes it less a discipline than a question of leaving a few gaps where it can land.
