Intentions work better as arrangements than as promises. Deciding at six in the evening to go for a walk usually loses to the couch. Putting the shoes by the door the night before wins more often than it has any right to.
The same applies to breath. Nobody remembers to breathe deliberately halfway through a hard conversation, but you can attach it to something that already happens. Every time you wash your hands. Every red light.
The version of you who has to carry this out later will be more tired than the version making the plan. Build for that one.
