Magnets are the wrong physics. Gratitude doesn't pull events toward you; it changes which events you're able to see when they arrive.
Someone primed to notice good things notices the colleague who quietly covered for them, the stranger who held a door, the small opening in a conversation where an ask would land. All of that was already there. Half of it goes unclaimed by people looking the other way.
Call it a filter rather than a miracle machine and it becomes something you can use.
Today, count the small kindnesses aimed at you. Just count. The total tends to surprise people.
