My life of joy begins now.

Almost everyone has a starting line drawn somewhere in the future. After the move. After this project ships. When the kids are older, when the money settles, when things calm down.

Things do not calm down. They change shape, a new set of reasons moves in behind the old one, and the line slides forward another eighteen months.

Beginning now does not mean the conditions are good. It means the conditions were never going to be the trigger.

Somewhere in today there is joy available that requires nothing to be resolved first. It tends to be free at about four o'clock.
