Some of what surrounds you was chosen and some of it merely accumulated. The pile by the door. The group chat that has been draining for a year. The radio station left on out of inertia.
Rooms have moods, and those moods are mostly made of small removable things. One lamp instead of the overhead light changes an evening more than it has any right to.
The same holds for the people-shaped parts of a week, though those take longer to rearrange.
Change one thing in whichever room you spend most of today in. Start with what has been irritating you since spring.
