Good things tend to arrive plainly. A two-line email while you are queueing for a sandwich. A text that says sure, that works. Nothing in the room changes, and the fanfare you had imagined for years turns out not to be part of the arrangement.
Which means a fair amount of what you asked for may have landed already and been filed under an unremarkable Wednesday.
It is worth a look back over the last eighteen months. Some of what you were desperate for in the spring is sitting in your life now, unremarked, being used daily.
