Attention works roughly like this: decide to buy a green car and green cars appear everywhere, on every road, as though the world had restocked overnight.

The same thing happens with money. People who have started thinking about a second income begin noticing openings that were always sitting there — the neighbour who needs something doing, the rate everybody else is charging, the internal job nobody reads the emails about.

The world does not restock overnight for anyone. But a changed filter is genuinely powerful, because most opportunities are not hidden. They are only unnoticed.
