Affirmation to Dreams Today I master my distractions and stay on purpose.

Today I master my distractions and stay on purpose.

Staying on purpose requires knowing what the purpose is today, in one sentence, in plain words. Most people can name their five-year direction and not their Tuesday.

Without that sentence everything looks equally urgent, so attention goes to whatever is loudest. Mastering distraction is impossible when you have no standard for what counts as one.

Write the sentence before you start. Today is about finishing the draft. Then a distraction becomes obvious rather than a judgment call, and refusing it costs you almost nothing.
