When I embrace joy, everything else in my life falls in place!

Nothing on your desk rearranges itself because you had a good morning. The pile of admin stays exactly the same height.

What changes is your reach. In a week you're enjoying, you answer the difficult email in four minutes instead of circling it for three days. The order arrives because you can get at things.

Joy isn't the reward you receive once the rest of your life has been sorted out. It runs the other direction at least as often, which is why the small pleasures at the start of a day matter more than they look.
