Dreams tend to arrive in disguise. The thing you wanted shows up with a different job title, in a city you didn't pick, three years later than planned — and you almost miss it, because it doesn't match the picture.

Specificity helps you aim. It also makes you a poor judge of your own luck.

Look at something you have now that a younger version of you was actively wishing for. It probably doesn't feel like a dream come true. It probably is one.
