Most people have one, and it survives a great deal. Bad months push it down, and it rises again when the weight comes off, often to the genuine surprise of the person doing the rising.
Acceptance is mostly a matter of not adding weight. Half of what keeps anyone under isn't the trouble itself. It's the second argument, the one about being the sort of person who gets troubled by things.
