I am brave, healthy and beautiful inside and out.

These three run on different clocks. Bravery is situational and turns up only when something is at stake. Health moves in seasons and doesn't always take instruction. Beauty was being decided about you by other people long before you had an opinion on it.

There's a trade most people get offered early — you may have one or the other, kind but plain, striking but hollow. Nobody ever explains who set those terms, and the two were never actually in competition.

On a day when one of the three clearly isn't available, the rest still stand. Bodies have bad weeks and nerve comes and goes. This is a standing description, not a daily reading.
