Affirmation to Fear I am confident I can solve issues that arise in my life.

I am confident I can solve issues that arise in my life.

Solving rarely means knowing the answer. A pipe bursts and nobody stands in the kitchen having already understood plumbing. You find the stopcock, turn it, then find someone who knows more than you do.

Competence at problems is mostly a sequence: stop the immediate damage, buy time, gather information, act. It survives almost any content — a diagnosis, a redundancy, a message you badly did not want to receive.

That's why the confidence is reasonable. It isn't a claim about your knowledge, which is finite. It's about a procedure that has worked on everything so far, including what you had no preparation for.
