Whatever you call it, help tends to arrive through intermediaries. Someone resurfaced the road you drove on this morning. Someone tested the water. A stranger a century ago worked out the antibiotic that kept you here in 2019.
None of it was arranged for you personally, which is exactly what makes it easy to overlook. Support that isn't addressed to you still holds you up. Add the people who did mean it — whoever taught you to read, whoever answered the phone that time — and being unsupported starts to look more like an accounting error than a fact.
