Openness has a workload attached. Once you will consider anything, everything arrives: the neighbour's tincture, three articles from a cousin, a documentary somebody insists you watch this week.
The sorting is the actual skill, and people who do it well tend to keep one question in front of them: does this sit alongside what your doctor is already doing, or does it ask you to stop? The first category is large and often worth exploring. The second is a conversation to have in the room, not in a browser tab.
Openness is not the same as having no filter. It is having a filter you chose.
