I am thankful to the universe for all the blessings in my life.

Thanking the universe raises an awkward question: who receives it? The universe is not, as far as anyone can establish, keeping a ledger or feeling appreciated.

That doesn't make the gesture empty. Thanks with no address still does something to the person saying it — it forces an inventory, and the inventory is the point.

But there are addresses available. The specific people who did specific things. Those thanks land somewhere and change the person receiving them, which is more than the cosmos will offer.

Send one today, to an actual name. Be exact about what they did. Vague appreciation is easy to wave off; precise appreciation isn't.
