Think of a week where you contributed nothing. Ill, or flattened, or simply useless. No earnings, no charm, no help to anybody. If you were still fed and checked on, you have already been on the receiving end of what this describes.

Unconditional often gets heard as unlimited, which it isn't. It means the terms aren't performance-based. Love that survives a bad month is a different structure from love priced on your output.

Most people find it far easier to grant than to accept. You would never tell a friend their worth dropped while they were struggling.
