Affirmation to Stress and Anxiety I choose courage over fear and peace over perfection.

I choose courage over fear and peace over perfection.

Courage is not the absence of fear. It is fear with the legs still moving.

The clearest example is small. Somebody speaks in a meeting with their voice going unsteady on the third word, says the thing anyway, and goes slightly red for a minute afterwards. Nobody in that room files it as bravery. Everyone who has ever done it knows precisely what it cost. The fear was fully present throughout and never got a vote.

The second half of the trade is the same move made quieter — the thing done at the level available to you today, rather than not done at the level you had in mind.
