Affirmation to Stress and Anxiety I choose happiness.

I choose happiness.

A choice does not always arrive as a fork in a road. Sometimes it is smaller and more repetitive — putting the radio on while you wash up, walking the long way past the allotments because the light is better there.

Nobody chooses a mood the way they choose a jumper. What can be chosen is what you turn toward once the mood is already in the room. That is a real power, and it is quieter than it sounds.

Happiness built this way is less an event than a series of small permissions. It does not require you to feel any particular way first.
