Affirmation to Negativity I don’t blame anyone else for my negativity

I don’t blame anyone else for my negativity

Other people can genuinely ruin a day. That is true and it needs saying, because pretending otherwise is its own kind of dishonesty.

The trouble with blame is not that it is inaccurate. It is often precisely accurate, and it still leaves you standing exactly where you were. A correct account of whose fault something was contains no instructions.

So the useful question sits beside it rather than instead of it. Not whose doing was this, but whose move is it now, which is a smaller question and almost always has an answer.

Sometimes the answer is a conversation. Sometimes it is leaving early. Occasionally it is deciding the afternoon is not worth the evening it is threatening to take.
