Four people have played the same card game on the same Thursday for eleven years and could not tell you a single hand between them. What they could tell you is who cried in 2019 and who got the job.

Time with others is mostly logistics: who's driving, where to park, when it has to end. The good part is usually about ten minutes long and unplanned, and it can't be had without the boring scaffolding holding it up. Which is a decent argument for turning up to things that don't sound especially promising.
