Trusting a process requires there to be one. Otherwise it's just trusting, which is a different and much harder job.
People who ride out slow stretches well usually have something dull and specific to point at — a spreadsheet with dates in it, a Tuesday and a Thursday already spoken for, a coach who says what happens this week so it doesn't get relitigated every morning.
Celebration works the same way. Vague pride evaporates. Specific pride sticks: not *I'm doing well* but *I did the thing on Tuesday when I badly didn't want to.* Name the Tuesday. That's the part worth keeping.
