At an airport gate, before you have consciously registered anything, there is a fizz somewhere under the sternum. Standing in the wings before you speak, the heart is already going. The body has read the situation and started preparing while the mind is still forming an opinion about it.

Half of what gets called nerves is enthusiasm that has been mislabelled. Same chemistry, different name. If something is coming today that has your chest humming, consider that it might be excitement, doing its job on schedule.
