My physical, emotional and spiritual wounds are all healed and dissipated right now.

The three don't run on one clock. A shoulder can be signed off by a physiotherapist in October while something that happened in the same accident is still turning up at traffic lights in March.

That mismatch confuses everybody, including the person it is happening to. The shoulder is visible. The rest isn't, so nobody adjusts their expectations, and you end up apologising for being behind a schedule that was never real.

There is no single finish line here. Not needing there to be one is its own kind of relief.
