Nothing can stop me from achieving my dreams.

Delay and defeat get filed under the same heading, wrongly. Almost every stopped project was only paused, then reclassified as failure by somebody tired enough to stop arguing about it.

Things will interrupt. Money, illness, a year that takes everything you have. What none of them can do is close the file. That only happens when the person decides it is closed, which is a decision rather than an event.

Which is why so much gets finished at forty-five that was abandoned at twenty-eight. The interruption was entirely real. It was just never the ending everyone assumed it was.
