Affirmation to Gratitude Thank you, emotions, for allowing me to experience both the highs and lows

Thank you, emotions, for allowing me to experience both the highs and lows

Thanking the lows is a large ask on a day when you're inside one. Grief doesn't feel like a gift and shouldn't have to be described as one.

What's true is duller and more useful: the same system produces both. There's no version of you that gets the good news at full volume and the losses at half. Numbing runs across the board — anyone who's had a flat, medicated, or exhausted stretch knows the joy went quiet too.

So the range is the arrangement. Not a lesson, just the terms.

If you're feeling something sharp today, you're at least not switched off.
