A decade from now, somebody already knows how the thing you're currently worried about turned out. It's you.
Most of what's occupying this week won't survive to that person's memory. The email you phrased badly. The meeting that went sideways. They'd need reminding these ever happened, and they'd struggle to place them.
That isn't an argument for caring less. It's a sorting tool. Ask which of today's items that version could still name unprompted, and put your weight there. Everything else can have the leftovers.
