Wonderful things are happening to me right now!

Wonderful is a big word for what's usually happening. Someone saved you a seat. A thing you'd been dreading resolved itself while you slept. The bread was good.

Hold out for wonderful in the fireworks sense and most days come back empty-handed. Lower the bar and the same day turns out to have three or four things in it.

This isn't about pretending. It's about resolution — looking at a finer grain. Find one thing that went right in the last hour.
